Stock Number: 3523Impressive, carved marble Stele pediment. Incredible weathered marble. Mounted to a later museum stand (removeable) From a Private collection, Burgundy. Listed in collection as Roman. The Pediment form is found in both Hellenistic and Roman Architecture Similar although smaller restored example, with lower section found in the Benaki Museum. suggests "Perhaps Attica Early 1st Century AD"
