Stock Number: 3641Late 19th Century woven birch backpack. Robust bentwood frame and rim, with woven strips of birch. Original tin latch and iron eyes for either leather or string straps. Found in its original blue painted finish. Likely used for gathering, foraging or hunting. Good untouched condition. Sweden, Circa 1890.
