Stock Number: 437518th Century Painted Trunk. Exterior pale blue original paint with lots of wear. Interior lid panel painted with a wonderful naive depiction of Adam and Eve In the Garden of Eden. Lots of wear, original hinges had worn through and been replaced (early 20th Century), some evidence of historical worm damage, early 20th Century repair to front right hand corner of lid. Dry untouched surface France Circa 1780.
