Late 19th Century Side or Lamp Table
Stock Number: 4744A handsome oak occasional table in the traditional style, dating from the early 20th century. The thick circular top has a broad, moulded edge and is supported by three striking over exaggerated barley-twist legs, each with turned collars and shaped feet. The legs are united by an over exuberant low triangular stretcher, centred by a turned wooden finial. The table retains a rich, dark oak colour with an attractive aged patina and visible natural grain. Its compact proportions make it a versatile piece, equally suited as a side, lamp or occasional table. France, Circa 1890,
