French Walnut Side or Lamp Table
Stock Number: 4743A charming walnut side table, with a circular top having a moulded and rounded edge above a turned central support. The lower platform is similarly shaped and decorated with concentric moulded details, supported on three elaborately turned and tapering legs. A particularly decorative triangular stretcher base features further turned detailing and a central finial. The rich walnut has a warm, polished colour and attractive natural figuring throughout, complemented by the extensive turned ornament. A well-proportioned and versatile occasional table, suitable for use beside a chair, sofa or as a small drinks or lamp table France, Circa 1870.
